Texodus – Recording
With the announcement from tech giants like Facebook and Twitter that most of their employees can work from home forever, many people are expecting a mass tech exodus from the Bay Area—a texodus, if you will.
For some, it’s a call for celebration, a release of the pressure valve of affordability in the region. For others, it’s an omen of shrinking budgets in the face of an economic downturn. Will this texodus actually happen, and if so, how will it affect the workers, neighborhoods, and communities in the Bay?
The panel was moderated by Catherine Bracy, Co-Founder and Executive Director of TechEquity Collaborative.
